ActiVet brush guarantee
This guarantee is provided by MONTI-Werkzeuge GmbH / ActiVet and applies exclusively to ActiVet brushes purchased directly from MONTI-Werkzeuge GmbH / ActiVet. We undertake to manufacture all ActiVet brushes sold free from defects in material and workmanship.
- 12-month guarantee from date of purchase — repair or replacement at our expense
- Covers all defects in materials and workmanship
- Applies exclusively to brushes purchased directly from MONTI-Werkzeuge GmbH / ActiVet
EXCEPTIONS — This guarantee does NOT apply in the case of:
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, negligence or force majeure
- Improper use contrary to the instructions supplied
- Damage to the handle or pins caused by incorrect use
- Failure to care for the brush properly
In exceptional cases, even after the 12 months have expired and after the brush has been inspected, a guarantee service may be granted as a goodwill gesture. Last edited: November 2023.

Can ActiVet check whether the brush suits my dog?
Yes. When you buy, you can optionally upload a photo of your dog. Our team checks before dispatch whether the brush suits the coat and gets in touch if another one would fit better.
What warranty do ActiVet brushes have?
12 months from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship for brushes bought directly from MONTI-Werkzeuge GmbH / ActiVet. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
How long does shipping take and what does it cost?
Shipping within Germany is free. We dispatch within 1–2 working days; delivery takes 2–4 working days. To other EU countries from €14.25.
Is there advice for grooming salons?
Yes. If you work in a grooming salon, we're happy to advise you personally on choosing brushes and ordering for your salon. Write to us via the contact form.
What does ActiVet have to do with Les Poochs?
The brushes developed by SVI and MONTI were also sold for a time under the Les Poochs brand. ActiVet goes back to the same development work. The same colours don't automatically mean identical products – if you'd like to find your previous brush again, we're happy to help.
How do I clean my ActiVet brush?
Remove hair after each use. If needed, clean with warm water and mild soap and let it dry thoroughly.
